      Where is scope of ECE engineers in Govt sector? Most of ECE guys are joining in software cos. Why not CSE in place of ECE? Scope in communication is also very limited. Lot of ECE guys are searing for job in daily news paper.

      hi dear,
      first of all let me tell u branch should be chosen according to which institution u are joining. always go for best course in ur college. and more it depends on your interest. ECE is a good branch. u can get core electronics job telecom job or software job. but to get a good core job you have to be very best in field. civil is evergreen branch but make sure u are ready for field works and thats why civil is not recommended for girls.

      Hello,EC Engineers dont have good job prospects until and unless they rely on IT.
      EC jobs are very limited.In that way Mechanical is better then EC

    Some people are misleading the youth saying EC is better than CSE.First you should knopw the job market and then give advice to others since it may influence someones decision.I

    The order of good branches w.r.t career are as follows:


    CSE tops the list because most of the high flying engineering jobs(atleast in India) today are in the IT field and CS is the most relevant branch.Unlike other branch engineers who generally study on other subjects and finally at the end of 4 yrs switch their line to IT,CSE engineers are focussed on Software/Computer related subjects and thats what they work on finally.So there is a relevance of what they study and finally what role they play.

    Many people say EC is better but its not the ground reality because EC engineers have very less core EC jobs.So ultimately IT is the winner and thats the only option for 99% of them

    Besides,many top IT companies prefer CSE engineers

    **branch may not matter once the candidate gets 4-5 yrs of experience
